The following information may assist you if you are considering an
undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework or research) degree in Occupational
Therapy.
Specific Program Enquiries
Study at UQ.Net provides Programs
and Courses information on all programs, plans and courses offered
at the University of Queensland including Occupational Therapy.
Prospective Undergraduate Students: Entry to the
undergraduate
program requires one of senior chemistry, biology or physics. Entry
is competitive and tertiary entrance rank for current year of entry
may be used as a guide only. Students may seek entry to occupational therapy
after one or more years of tertiary study and should apply through QTAC.

Prospective Graduate Entry Masters Students: Students
with a prior relevant degree and prerequisite study in anatomy (2 units),
statistics (2 units), and a minimum of 2 units in either physiology,
sociology or psychology, are eligible to apply for entry to the Master
of Occupational Therapy Studies program. This program is a full-fee
paying six semester course. Further information can be obtained at academic

Prospective International Students
Are you interested in studying at The University of Queensland? The
University has a number of dedicated professionals who can assist you
in negotiating the enrolment process. There are also a large number
of support services that are available during your course of study with

Prospective Research Students
Are you interested in undertaking a graduate
research program (MPhil, PhD)? If you are please feel free to contact Kryss McKenna or any
specific staff member within the division who are conducting research
in your areas of interest.

of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor
of Philosophy (PhD) programs is available from the Programs
and Courses database. Details regarding terms of candidature, applications,
scholarships etc., are available from the Graduate
School web site.
For those interested in pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master
of Philosophy (MPhil), consult the Head of Division of Physiotherapy
before lodging a formal application.
There are a number of resources available for students to assist them
to successfully complete their studies at The University of Queensland.

The School
of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences - Student Administration Unit
