About Occupational Therapy
Welcome to Occupational Therapy a Division of the School
of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Queensland.
The Occupational Therapy course was established at The University of
Queensland in 1955 and has offered a bachelor's degree since 1968.
The Occupational Therapy program has always been offered within the
University and provides high quality teaching and research opportunities
to the capable students it attracts.
The division offers degree and graduate entry courses,
as well as masters and doctorate research programs. These courses
comply with the educational requirements for accreditation by the Australian
Association of Occupational Therapists, and the World Federation of
Occupational Therapists.
Numerous postgraduate students are currently enrolled in research higher
degrees in the division.
Occupational Therapy is located across several floors in the Therapies Annex (84A), located in the
north-west sector of the St Lucia Campus.
