Coming to study occupational therapy within SHRS will provide you with a first class experience that enables you to springboard your career as an occupational therapist in many ways.
The Division offers a four year undergraduate program, a two year graduate entry masters program and postgraduate masters and doctoral research programs to the capable domestic and international students it attracts.The very accomplished and dedicated staff provide students with high quality teaching and varied research opportunities. The academic and clinical staff members are acclaimed leaders in their field, both nationally and internationally. They are superb teachers, who have received university and national awards for their teaching expertise and innovation. Numerous career opportunities are available to graduated students who work with people of all ages experiencing mental and physical challenges, assisting them with meaningful activities of daily living.
The programs comply with the educational requirements for accreditation by the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
