May I welcome you to the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. This School teaches and researches in the areas of Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology.

The health challenges of the future will shift from a local to global focus, as the world’s societies come to grips with issues such as longer-living ageing populations and poorer health status, as the world copes with the stresses of climate change, economic instability, and new and unknown health threats. The health professional students of today will be called upon to be the leaders and solution providers of tomorrow. For that task, the students of today will need to be educated in a global environment in their chosen field of study. They will need a solid background in the science associated with health care and solutions, which is why choosing The University of Queensland to become a health professional is essential – a University with a world class reputation for its research and teaching, and a top performing School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

The University of Queensland provides students with a strong foundation for their health careers. UQ graduates are highly sought after by employers within Australia and overseas.   Come and prepare for your future – as a graduate of The University of Queensland.
