EARMILES calls for Volunteers
Do you have a hearing loss?
Can you share your experiences about your hearing loss?
Are you 18 years old or older?
University of Queensland audiology researchers are currently seeking volunteers for a research study on the experiences of adults with hearing loss. Volunteers may use hearing aids, may have hearing aids but not use them, or may not have hearing aids. Volunteers cannot have a cochlear implant or have had ear surgery.
The research involves a two-hour interview at a time and location suitable to the volunteer.
There are no direct risks or benefits related to participation in this research study. All information collected is confidential. The aim of the research study is to improve current hearing services. This research study has been cleared by a University of Queensland ethics committee.
