About the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, comprises four disciplines of the health professions:
~ Audiology ~ Occupational Therapy ~ Physiotherapy ~ Speech Pathology
Students studying in this School benefit from the long tradition of high achievement in teaching and research. Our programs in Physiotherapy have been offered since 1938; Occupational Therapy has been offered since 1955 while Speech Pathology and Audiology have been offered since 1962. The programs have been developed on-site since their inception, which has promoted a strong focus on scientific endeavour and high quality outcomes.The School offers a highly successful range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and has recently introduced Graduate Entry Masters programs in all disciplines, which provide an alternate entry point to these professions for students who possess a previous degree. The SHRS is a leading research organisation.
